That is exactly why I did not post anything but the link. In addition to the above: "2. If you are an individual and you would like to manufacture things for personal use, you can use all the plans and patterns from this website for FREE. Of course, if you would like to support our website you ...

Re: knots for use in scal

ditto on the fun AND with just a little work I can get a vector image without paying $14.00. Not a crack, just using screen capture and photo editor with inkscape. Wasn't the 14 bucks, just needed a challenge.

Re: Is SCAL right for my job? Illustrator, scalloping

Why not "enlist" someone to do the prototype cutting and skip the learning curve of SCAL and avoid buying a cutter for one job? Use google Hangouts to visual communicate and UPS to transfer the prototype to you. Just thinking out loud ...

Re: 3-D cone

I made it to fit on a 8 1/2 X 11 sheet.
It has a 1/4 inch glue tab.
4 5/8 diameter -- 5 3/4 tall.
You will need to position it within a 1/4 (.250) of the top of the sheet, It is 6 3/16 wide so the sideway position is not critical.

Re: Two Medallions with a sticky mat and a sharp blade.

Love the gold.
.
It took me two attempts with the Cameo to get a clean cut/weed. My hands shake a lot these days and pulling it from the mat without tearing is a challenge when the cuts get so thin.

Thanks again.

Re: Sticky mat and a sharp blade required.

Well, here is something to play with. Started with the outside design, then scaled a copy to fit inside the first, rotated it 45 degrees and then did it all over again. Time you get to the center cut things are getting real thin. I did attempt in SCAL to reduce the number of nodes, but regardless of...
