Re: importing files problems

I can't speak specifically for the software that you are using but I've had similar issues forever. I recently started using Illustrator and I'm still having issues. I then did some internet research and realized that there are plug ins for this, which I haven't tried because my version of SCAL does...

Re: Bunny Box

Does that mean that the tabs are too long? Are they overlapping around the curves? I may be able to get my kids to cut one out for me today so we can give it a test run.

Bunny Box

Hi. After a post looking for a bunny box I created my own. I have not test cut these so if you try it please add your comments. I did these in Illustrator and then traced into SCAL. I think I see an issue on the last two but I don't know how to fix it. I don't know the program very well. There are s...

Re: Easter Bunny Box

I have never noticed a way to do this in SCAL, yet I'm still using SCAL2 so maybe there is a way to do it in the newer versions. I did see that I can do it in Illustrator. I would expect some waste with this anyway, I'd guess it. I'd probably measure it and as though it were a rectangle which should...

Re: Easter Bunny Box

That is an adorable bunny box and it could be recreated but it would take some time and of course copying is a no no. I did make you some tabbed strips that could be used with any shape to make a box. Use the smaller tabs for more intricate shapes. Best of luck to you finding what you are looking fo...

Re: Santa Hat

I think I'm going to add to it next time around. I'd like to cut out white pieces for the round end and a strip to go across the band of the hat. I think it'll look nicer than sprinkles to add the white. I could add sprinkles on top of the white pieces for texture and then add them onto the red and ...

Re: Santa Hat

Thank you pastda3. I don't get to create too much anymore and I find I've missed it. Funny though, the kids threw a towel over all of our cupcake toppers while I was out of the kitchen. We had these, Christmas trees and snowflakes all ready decorated with sprinkles and left to dry a bit. I was frant...

I'm just cracking up. Let's all say neato and see what kind of responses we get. I can't to see how my kids respond.
