Thanks Susan :) I have managed to fill the image with a solid colour in my graphics programme, then trace around it in Ecal and place the printed image on top and it then prints with the reg marks, now I just have to see if I can cut it. Printer not printing registration marks
I have read all the threads about this tried everything suggested, checked the box is checked, tried 2 different printers, made sure the paper orientation is correct and STILL NO REGISTRATION MARKS!!! Can someone please help me before I throw the Eclips out of the window

Has anyone else had the white strip that is stuck underneath the blade come off? Mine came loose within a month or two of having the machine and the retailer said to stick it back down but it came off altogether and they said it is not essential to the cutting but my cuts have been awful since. I have tried doing this in scal - first question do I have to create my own shape or can I use an svg lace shape? Then when I place it on the CB how do I drag a box around it as it won't let me it just selects the CB as well? If I select what I can it says the path cannot be split?

Thank you both very much. I don't use Inkscape but might investigate! I know how to use the path tools union etc but have never looked into the node tools to split path, will look on You Tube!! Off to learn, love to learn how to do new things
