SCAL 3.030 + Inkscape Send to SCAL Plugin

Not sure if its already been mentioned as not had time to keep up on the forum, but just in case not.. SCAL 3.030 is out which has some bug fixes, it now imports bitmaps embedded in SVG's (still a little bit buggy though) and enables you to send an SVG directly from Inkscape to SCAL to cut by going ...

For me weeding lines are essential as I do a lot of vinyl cutting and without them weeding large and intricate cuts is near on impossible, for this reason (mostly) I do not use SCAL very much and stick with the ridiculously expensive Signcut Pro. I would have thought it was a bit high tac for transferring onto anything other than a smooth hard surface like glass, but its quite a long while since I used contact paper - I thin the last time was when I was at school <cough>38<cough> years ago :D You can of course get clear low tac vinyl transfe...
