not seen that option, I think you just set the virtual mat to the size of the vinyl and place your design.

Re: Please lets try again :)
we all make mistakes and it's hard reading posts as you don't get the meaning behind a post so best we leave that in the past :) OK I answered on the other thread but in short, I have no love for Colin and am NOT surprised he gives no help - he kind of thinks everyone else should be his Customer Ser...

Re: Having trougle printing high quality from Print2Cut for
it might be worth installing a virtual pdf printer (cutepdf springs to mind but there are others) and print to that, then print the resulting pdf to the printer. that can give a better output.

Re: Multi Cut -- Happens without us wanting it to happen!
in some software it's because you have fill AND stroke on, but in scal that is not the case.
if multicut is off then it sounds like you have two (or more) objects on top of each other.

you don't need to plead insanity. just be honest about where you purchased and if you purchased from the other site (not thymegraphics) then we can still help you but of course it would be limited
there are now three forums, the UK one, the USA one and a new OZ one

Re: SCAL2 may not work with Mountain Lion 10.8.4
OK so, do you still have the install discs for previous OS (snow leopard or such)
if you do, you could get parallels and install it as a "virtual" os - then use that for scal2 (I have this but run windows XP for my embroidery software etc)

if they are scans of drawings make sure they are scanned at 300 dpi. this is normally set in the scanner software
if they are computer drawn see if they can be saved at 300 dpi - it will make the files big and you can resize them and keep the quality.
