Not the first time I missed something obvious! Where did you see that?

Re: Design Studio
I started out with the cricut expression, which I didn't buy until I discovered the original SCAL because I wanted to cut MY designs. I loved my cricut and still have it, although I don't use it anymore. In an effort to find the 'perfect' replacement for my cricut, I've purchased a number of machine...

Re: Scal Pro version
Will this cut to my cut3000 (GCC Bengal) cutter? If not, are you planning on adding it to the list? I would be very interested as I dislike the software I have now - you design in a vector program such as corel and then send the design to the cutting interface which I have not so much control over. ...

Re: Loading mat from ecal
Yes, you can, I do it all the time. I don't have my ecal computer here, or I would walk you through it. But as I remember, it was an easy button to find, either the drop down menu or the user interface maybe? As for the stuck button, I had that happen to the one on the left when I bumped it, carryin...

Re: RECOMMEND A CUTTER
I have a number of machines, an expression, silhouette, craftrobo, gazelle, ecraft, a zing and an eclips. (Geeze, that looks bad when I type it out, but I have been on the hunt for a perfect machine...). They all have good and bad points (some more than others), but if my house burned down and I kne...
Re: Cameo
No, you can't cut paper without a mat, unless the paper has a separate backing (like vinyl).
The 10 feet is for anything, however, you would need a 10 foot mat to cut paper that long!

Re: SCAL and the Sillhouette Camep
Go out to the main site and select 'buy scal 3'. At near the top, it will have 3 gray boxes that say something like 'ecal' 'version 3' and 'version 3 upgrade'. Click on upgrade and follow the directions exactly. Version 3 is a new program and needs its own activation number. It will install along si...

Re: Ecal and Make the Cut
You should be able to export your mtc designs as svg files, although it may depend on which version of mtc you have.

Adding the knk zing
Any chance that the zing will get added to scal? Right now it only works with make the cut, but Andy said they wrote the software so that other programs could easily add the zing to there program. Being a scal girl at heart, I am desperately hoping that happens, and soonish. Anyone else pick up a zi...

Re: Scams for Sure Cyts a Lot 2
I'm getting a zing also, and I am hoping Todd adds the zing to the scal line-up. Andy at mtc said he wrote the software so other companies could easily interface with the zing. As a scal girl, I really hope it happens, and SOON!
