Re: New update for CDS
I downloaded the new font pack from Oct 19th and SCAl works fine But fontpack updates only update the list of cartridges within the program. Updates to CDS are program updates. The update that was released today (27 Oct 2009) is an actual software update that changes the program itself, not just th...

Re: Can't open SVG anymore?
Oh thank you pastda3 For saying that. I was afraid I had done something to my computer after my Vista did an auto update. I thought it was just me. Grammy Are you using Internet Explorer? Last I heard -- It's the only web browser that doesn't automatically support SVG images. You have to get some p...

Re: Sure Cuts A Lot 2.0 For Windows
I just bought this program in May and now I have to spend more money for the upgrade? that really does hurt. I was working when I bought SCAL and love it but My life has changed and no longer work..I was hoping to make this work for me as to making special things for people. I really feeling like i...

I feel lucky then... that $30 only cost me Euro 21... but even at 30 Euros ($42) I'd still be happy!!GirlfromOz wrote:Well, I paid $39 (approx) Australian for this UPGRADE and I think it is worth every cent.

Re: Sure Cuts A Lot 2.0 For Windows
I dont like that we have to pay twice for the same software. Just an upgrade. Even cricut, as cheap as they are has never charged for upgrades to design studio. The whole point, to me, in getting this software was to save money from upgrading and buying carts constantly. Blah. I'll stick with the o...

Re: I have to REACTIVATE every time I open SCAL2
That's exactly how I open the application - I don't have shortcuts on my desktop for my applications. I just think it is weird that I have to do this everytime. When you click on "help" and then "About" do you get the SCAL logo/splash opening yellow box... and below that a grey ...

Re: how to cut to exact size?
i've been through those blogs unless i missed it it would be nice to see a good step by step on how to go about this Both sites listed have tutorials on how to take an image and convert it to an SVG. As far as how to cut to an exact sizse, there are size boxes in the program where you can set the e...
