Thats interesting about the Mod podge. I've been reading about different projects but what i would like to know is can you put Mod Podge on silk flowers to stiffen them a little? I want to make hair accessories with the silk material from Leis (hawaiann necklaces) that i purchased at my local dollar...

Glass etching project (flower)

I etched a flower into a recylcled glass salsa jar. I'm practicing on them. I hope you can view these photos of the jar (2). I did it a few minutes ago, but my computer lost connection and it didnt go.

Properties table on SCAL

Hi, I went to my SCAL program and my properties table is missing, i tried going to the top of the screen and click on it but it doesnt come up. How do i get it back? I wanted to create a shadow or blackout of a file and i cant without that table. I have the library/and fonts and shapes table but not...

Well i tried the etching again and it worked well. Made a candy jar for my mom's birthday and i will upload the picture this week, havent had a minute yet. She loved it (flower from a cartridge i have). Ok, gotta go, just thought i'd let you all know how the etching went. Jen

Thanks, I pre wash all my glasses first. Then I wiped them with roubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.
I have been practicing on salsa jars. I will take a piure and post it if I can. Thanks for everyone 's feedback. Jennifer

Yes vinyl is fun. I will try etching this week or weekend. I didn't do well the first try last year but I 'm trying again. We 'll see. Thanks for all the compliments, makes me eager to try more experiments.
