Ladybug Vinyl Nursery Wall

We put up the crib for our baby girl that is due in July and I had to personalize the wall above it. After struggling with clear contact paper, I decided I am DEFINITELY investing in transfer tape after payday! LOL Anyway, I used the font "Prelude" for her name and "Cool Dots" fo...

Re: Welding not sticking when reopening the file

DUH! I think that I figured it out. I was clicking on each letter to weld them together (like in Cricut DS). Then I reread the instructions and saw that you click on the entire word and push weld. I tried that and so far it is working. I KNEW there had to be an easy fix.

Re: Welding not sticking when reopening the file

Re: Welding not sticking when reopening the file

I went into something that I KNOW was welded together. It was not. I rewelded it, did a "Save As" and closed SCAL. When I reopened it, it was not welded. Any ideas?

Re: Cutting mats

Something that I do is using painters tape (it is the blue kind that looks like masking tape that you put up when you paint) to tape down my paper when the mats are no longer sticky.

Welding not sticking when reopening the file

I welded together some letters and saved the file. When I reopened it, they were no longer welded. Am I doing something wrong? TIA! Jill

I am glad that I am not the only one whose brain does not do this! :)
