Is there a way to convert files from SCAL1 to Scal2? I've got some cute files I'd like to use but if you open it in SCAL2 it's just abunch of lines and circles on top of each other.

I'd thought I'd done all of that and couldn't get it. However, I did realize later it was better to have things separate as those grid lines wouldn't cut well. I figured out a better way. Thanks!

OK, so HOW do I make my text cut without the grid lines? I've tried selecting the text and text to path, then selecting both the gridlines(drawn with the Bezier tool) and text and union and pretty much everything I could think of. HELP! It looks like the top when I import it into SCAL so it will cut...
