ok, i went to the craftedge site and downloaded the 2.4.2 usb driver package. installed it. tried it and the same thing happened. any other ideas or things i can check to see if i did it right or have what i need?

no, probably not. i watched a youtube video on how to do it, but i wasn't able to follow the directions.

when i try to cut something, it gets hung up on the initilazing phase. is there something i need to do? i have been using SCAL2 on my old computer for years, but it would be easier if i could use it on my new computer. i can use it for design and stuff, but i can't get it to cut. :( any ideas? thanks!

hi - thank you! i have scal 2. i have been playing with it and i did get what i was trying to do done using outset instead of a stroke, but the outset didn't give as crisp results as the stroke did. this was what i was trying to use at first but i could never get the stroke to open up/ be recognized...

ok, i am having a similar problem so i just though i would post here. i am trying to make something (simple example would be a word with a stroke around it). i export s regular svg. when i import it, the "stroke part won't show up. so i must be missing a step. help please!!! : ) and thank you!
