Thats what I think I am doing wrong. the arrow on my virtual mat is on the botton right and on my cricut mat its on the bottom left.. how can I change it?

I am having a problem when I load my lettering to the machine it goes up to the right hand corner everytime to start cutting.. I load,set paper size ifits small...
