Re: Engraving with the Cricut
One lady on the cricut boards was engraving on plexiglass using old dull cricut blades, since they were worn out anyway. I have noticed that the engraving blades look like the opposite end of the blades we have. I have wondered what would happen if the blade were put in upside down, using that end ...

Re: Engraving with the Cricut
The video you saw is from scrapbookdiecutter.com. They sell the engraving tip for $29.99. It is not a ProvoCraft product. I looked extensively on ebay for an engraving tip for Roland cutters, since they share the same form factor as Cricut, but was not successful. You can get engraving metal from a...

Re: SCAL and PDDU
http://www.4shared.com/dir/6762632/862f5c77/sharing.html You can go to this web site and download the PDDU handbook . I print out the page I want, scan and edit the image I want, take it to Inkscape and turn it into an SVG file, import it into SCAL and cut. Cheaper than buying a cartridge and I lik...

Re: Lots of freebies
I just spent the last FOUR hours looking thru this web site: http://www.scrapmag.info/crafty/index.php They have 1000's of free files, many of them in the svg format. There are also a lot of jpegs that you can copy and make files out of. DHoffman mentioned this in one of her posts here. I think she...
