Re: Trying to calibrate my silver bullet but....

Every cutter brand and, sometimes, model, will utilize however many registration marks deemed suitable by the engineers who develop the technology to be used. The newest camera-enabled cutters manufactured by Skycut (i.e. Skycuts, UK Cutters, StarCraft SOLOs, Siser models, and more) all use 4 reg ma...

Re: Changing cut pressure during a print n cut?

It is in SCAL6, which I believe you posted that you are using. You'll notice that in the Style Panel Cut Line Type menu, there's an option called Score. This option allows you to set a different cutting Force (called Score Force) to be used compared to the other Cut Force option. Thus, for example, ...

Re: SCAL 6 Change registration Mark default print setting

You don't mention which cutter you're using but for all of the models I personally support, if you wait to print once you've entered the Print+Cut window, then Print Registration Marks WILL always be enabled: 1.png 2.png Note that it makes sense for it to work this way because we're seeing an increa...

Re: Trying to calibrate my silver bullet but....

In case you didn't realize it, you do NOT have to choose one of the (Print + Cut) options when doing a Print+Cut project. The layer should be set according to what you want to happen to it. I do a LOT of print+cut projects with layers set to Cut so that they will both print AND cut. For example, I w...

Re: Trying to calibrate my silver bullet but....

Please note again, what I wrote in my response. If you leave a layer set to "Cut", then it will BOTH print AND cut. Here's a look-up table for you to use:

Re: Trying to calibrate my silver bullet but....

Print+Cut Cut means the shape will ONLY cut and will not print. If you want that rectangle to do both, you need to leave it set to Cut.

And if you still can't figure it out, please post the exact Brand and Model of cutter you're using. Also, post photos from the Cut Settings window in both SCAL versions.

Re: Not cutting the right output from file

That's what happens when too large of a Blade Offset is used. Assuming that 1. you've not made any changes to the cutter itself and 2. you still have SCAL3 installed, please go to the Cut Settings window and check the Blade Offset in use there. Then compare to the same in SCAL6 Pro.

Re: No pattern showing up in print preview?

Here's a table of suggested settings for the Skycut C model. As always you must do test cuts to make sure you have REALLY clean results before proceeding. Note that the table is also linked on my Skycut support page on my own web site: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sTSwX_G-BJbGPhr9OT_Ufks2...
