Cuts Not Completing

I recently purchased a Cameo 3 and I am using it with SCAL 5.0. The cutter is stopping before it finishes everything on the screen/mat. It will stop when in the middle of a shape, thinking the job is done when it isn't. It does this almost every time I cut something, and it is very frustrating, not ...

Re: HUGE KUDOS to Craft Edge - Amazing Support

Add me to the list of fans.

I have a Cricut right now. As soon as the budget allows, I'll be upgrading my cutter, but I will be sticking with SCAL no matter what!

Re: Card Sharing

Wow! Nice job on those cards!

I need to make some up myself... March and April are busy months for me for birthdays, etc. Also, I just started a new part time job and I really miss my papercrafting time. Your cards are the inspiration I need to get going again! Thanks for sharing them.

Re: Projects Challenge & Thanks to CRAFTEDGE!

Well if older projects count too, here are a couple of mine. DD's teacher had the kids make their own mailboxes last Valentine's Day. Rather than paint a shoe box, we embellished Monica Bjork's chapel: Valentine House 003 B.jpg My group skated an Egyptian theme in a local ice show. We figured a than...

Re: Black Friday Sales

I got my Cricut Expression for $140 at a Black Friday sale at Menards (a Midwest competitor to Lowes and Home Depot). It was a steal. These days, however, I wouldn't buy a Cricut because the ones sold now are incompatable with SCAL.

Re: Vinyl sheets

Hobby Lobby sells vinyl too. I bought a roll of Cricut vinyl there in a pinch one time. That vinyl is a little more expensive than what you can find online and you can't be too picky about the color.

Re: Cake box (tirangle sahe box)

Penny,

I am not the OP, but liked her idea and used your wonderful pattern (thank you so very much for sharing it) to hold slices of a pie I made and cut up for Parents' Night at DD's school last weekend:

Re: Cleaning the cutting mat

Are you just talking about cleaning the mat or refurbishing it? I don't seem to have much luck just cleaning it, so I usually end up refurbishing it. There are some videos on how to do it. Its rather simple and takes less than five minutes. I lay my Cricut mat on a sheet of newspaper, then use paint...
