I had just downloaded Inkscape yesterday, and was in tears because I couldn't figure out how to work it...even with the tutorials. I am uninstalling that awful thing right now...

Thanks Irene. It doesn't mention that in the tutorial...but now it doesn't matter...I just saw the post about the SCAL update. Now I don't need that stupid Inkscape! YAY!

I am almost in tears...I feel so dumb. I just downloaded Inscape, and I can't even type letters on it. I followed the picture tutorial exactly to page 5 where it says to type your letters one at a time. I'm typing and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

In fact, I have never learned to do the last three, and from what I have read on the MB it seems that you have to do a lot of that with Inkscape. Plus I have no idea what all t...

I'm with you. I checked out inkscape too, and I couldn't understand a thing. I'm just going to try to be patient and wait for these two things to be added to SCAL.
