Re: Sure Cuts A Lot AND Cricut Design Studio
I use both...probably 90% SCAL...but there are some things on the carts I have that I really like. PC will have to come up with A LOT better cart than the new ones before I would purhase any more.

Confused about CDS update
I'm confused. I read a lot of messages on "that other" MB that says they have updated, and are not having any trouble with SCAL working, and then I also read a lot of messages that say they can't get SCAL to work right after the update. I don't know who to believe. I'm not in any hurry to ...

Re: Letters Disappear When Adding Shadow
Yes, it happens to me too. I made a post about this a couple of weeks ago, and got no replys on it, so I assume that nobody knows what causes it, or has an answer.

Re: Cricut has finally addressed the issue...
They won't fool too many people with their scare tactics. All anyone has to do is read the positive posts about having SCAL, and not having any trouble. Too bad those posts get buried so quickly on the cricut mb. My cricut is working just fine, and so is SCAL, so I'm not going to do the update. I do...

Re: When PC updates the DS for new cartridges
It does state in the CDS MB post from Chris (PC admin) that a firmware update will be required after this 2nd update...so far no one on that board is having any issues not being able to cut with SCA after doing the update, so all is well it looks like! Great news Stephanie! Thanks for the info. I w...

Re: WOW! Why are people so freaked about SCA over at Cricut?
I have to admit I got involved in one of the threads over there that has drug out for a couple of days. I recognize a couple of names over here too ;) One in particular was started with someone warning about PC voiding our warranties etc. then the original post was removed, but the thread kept on go...

Yes...thank you for everyting...I tell everyone I meet about this, and I hope I'm bringing you more business. I'm going to a local crop this week, and I will be showing off all the stuff I have created with SCA.

trouble with shadow
This doesn't happen with all my fonts, but some of them don't work well with shadow...or I am doing something wrong. Some of them, when I try to make the first shadow, it cuts off some of the letters. Mostly like the last one, but sometimes some in the middle, or every other one. The font I am tryin...

Re: Help with Inkscape
If you want to draw your own templates you still need a graphics program -SCAL will weld letters, dingbats and the basic shapes that are in its shape library. Honestly Inkscape is not difficult , if you follow the tutorial slowly - sorry I didn't mention that you needed to click on the text tool be...
