Ok, I got my scal 2 back by doing a system restore and I put it into a different usb port but the problem remains. Do you think that I should just try replacing that cord?

Oh, I see. Okay, I will check into that as soon as I get scal2 reinstalled. They may have something to do with the problem because awhile back I recall having to jiggle that wire around on the back. Thanks for the suggestions!!

Yes I can get it to cut from the cricut cartridges just fine but not with scal 2. I just deleted scal 2 off of my computer in an attempt to see if reinstalling it would help.
