Aligning mat?
It's cutting about 3/4 inch to the left of where it is supposed to be. I JUST calibrated the laser and origin. Maybe calibration was done wrong...Any ideas? THANKS! Offset Issue.jpg (PS the Ecal2 mat image numbers from 1 at top to 12 at bottom, whereas the actual physical mat numbers from 12 at top ...

Re: cutting mat lines?
Cricut. Sorry. I just ran a test and it appears you must use the dashed lines on the virtual mat and it aligns exactly on the actual mat--that is, the most upper left cut you will get will be at .25, .25 not zero, zero--so if you are placing small pieces of paper to cut, centering makes a difference.

Re: Layer help, please
If you watch the tutorial about layers, it says it keeps it all in one layer. But mine doesn't. For me Scrapping is a fun challenge but using a software shouldn't be a challenge at all.

Layer help, please
If I want everything on the same layer (and I want it all black to keep from distracting me and to be able to print it for someone else)...when I watched the layer tutorial, he added lements and it kept it on the same layer. When I add elements, it keeps adding new layers. I don't see a preference t...

Re: Finally decided to ask...
Thanks. I've been using SCAL for years and have avoided outside the dots but didn't know for sure. Wonder why it's designed like that.
